Your visit

What to expect, from first call to follow-up

A first visit is much easier when you know its shape. Here is exactly how care proceeds — the same whether you come in or consult online.

  1. 1

    Getting in touch

One call, one message, or one short form.

Ring the clinic, send a WhatsApp message, or fill in the request form on this website. Tell us whether you would rather come in or consult online, and roughly when you are free. We will come back to you and fix a time before the appointment.

    Worth knowing

    • First consultations run long — leave extra time in your day.
    • Say if you need step-free access or extra help getting in.
    • Mention if a family member will be joining you.
  2. 2

    The long conversation

This is the part that matters most.

You will be asked to describe the concern in your own words first, then in more detail: when it began, how it behaves, what makes it better or worse, and what it stops you doing. Past illnesses, family history, current medicines, sleep, appetite, energy and stress all get covered. There is no right way to answer — the questions will guide you.

    Worth knowing

    • Bring old prescriptions, blood tests, scans and discharge summaries.
    • Bring the strips, or a written list, of everything you take now.
    • You do not need to prepare anything or rehearse.
  3. 3

    The case is studied

Considered as one picture, not symptom by symptom.

Everything from the consultation is weighed together, along with any reports you brought. The aim is to see the pattern of your health as a whole, which is what individualised prescribing rests on. Some cases need a little study time after you have left.

    Worth knowing

    • You may get a follow-up question by phone or message.
    • Further investigations may be suggested if the picture is unclear.
    • Nothing is decided in a hurry.
  4. 4

    A plan you understand

Explained before you leave the room.

You will be told what the assessment is, what has been suggested and why, how to take it, and what practical changes to diet, sleep or routine might help. Ask as many questions as you need — the plan is no use if it is not clear to you.

    Worth knowing

    • Ask for it in writing if that is easier to follow at home.
    • Keep taking whatever your other doctors have prescribed.
    • You will be told when to call sooner than your follow-up date.
  5. 5

    Follow-up

    Essential, not optional.

Homeopathic care is reviewed over time rather than delivered in one go. At each follow-up your progress is discussed honestly, changes are recorded, and the plan is adjusted where it needs to be. The interval is agreed with you at the end of every visit.

    Worth knowing

    • Jot down anything you notice between visits, good or bad.
    • Follow-ups can usually happen online if travelling is hard.
    • Bring any new reports done in the meantime.
